  1.  @hepthegreat4005  true. I found in Asia it is normal not having an insurance for freehold for reasons you mentioned. If some flaws were not discovered by lawyer before signing then a buyer will be screwed.. i asked once why the insurance is non existent but the reply was nobody ever asked but me. Incredibly risky deal!!
