  1. True. But no new taxes and spending was CAPPED. The interest has piled up and the Fed would have to make that call first before total borrowing can be reduced.

  2.  @jp92382  do you really understand what CAPPED soending really means? Besides the spending was cut back to same level 2 years ago before Covid. All unused Covid money was scraped.. why? Because people should get jobs and not welfare cheques..no new taxes raise also means no new inflow. So which part that you said a spending spree?
