  1. When oil is allowed to trade in Yuan that would imply that Yuan will likely take control of the price of gold as China is building more reserve in gold than reserve in Dollar. The bet will be for India to fill the lack of dollar demand.

  2. No and these are the choices to be made by both sides. America is about individualism first which is great in terms of self leadership and is bad in terms of accommodating other interests. The trick is to show that your interests will serve their interests much bigger than their own discovery. That or leaving the US market which is very costly in short to long terms.
