  1. Russia's voters DO have a bad habit of electing nasties, or complete fools that - after a bit of time - make the nasties look 'good' even when the elections are kinda sorta 'free'

  2. I say he's just neurotic and has a bad back. We should be so lucky that he keels over... Though I am afraid there are plenty of nasties just waiting to take over, and be even worse. Russia doesn't really have the best history as far as choosing heads of state go.
