@ivangohome It’s about 3 to 5 kopeck a post on top of a rather meagre base-wage, meagre even by Russian standards. Hence the endless bullshit-posts and copy-paste comments. But it’s a job with a certain security, even if the pay is crap.

@Stefan Yup. And they have done this for quite a long time. And if a teacher/lecturer uses sources that are.. ehm.. ‘not approved’ he/she’ll end-up without a job pretty quickly. Russian schoolbooks on history are quite.. ehrm.. ‘interesting’ especially when WW2 is involved.. hardly anywhere is the LandLease meantioned, or the other foreign help. Then again, some states in the US are also rewriting history by leaving certain things out.

@jaybelle1909 aaand… there’s the other troll.

@PNH-sf4jz Truth will out soon enough when sons do not come home. Even leaving the bodies to rot in Ukrainian ditches won’t help there. The utterly cynical thing behind that isn’t even that Putin and his cronies are afraid that the numbers of men Killed will reach the populus, but that the families will claim the full payment for a soldier KIA. A soldier MIA, or killed due to an accident, doesn’t need a full pay-out to the relatives…. Mull about that for a moment.

Prices in Russia’s supermarkets have, basically, doubled, If I see the reports from Russians themselves, at the same time their wages/income hasn’t. An average salary is about 500 to 700 dollar at best in the current exchange values. And the cost of foodstuffs is -by now - the same as in the West.. where salaries áre double that of the average Russian. Bad combo. Even lentls ( favorite base food stuff of Russians, it seems) have almost doubled in price. Let alone ‘luxuries’ like coffee, bread and whatnot. Only sugar has remained largely even. Subsidized to the brim, it seems. Maybe Putain REALLY fears a populus that can’t afford the sugar in their tea? 🤣

Nonsense. ‘Restraint’ ??? The Russian airforce already tried.. to be shot out of the air by - in our western eyes - rather antiquated Anti Air systems and bloody shoulder fired missile systems that were already in use in the Afghan war. And the ‘Republican Guard? Really? Their elite ‘Spetsnatz’ paratroopers got wiped-out in the first days of the siege of Kyiv. Still the inane idea that Russia ‘holds back’ their best troops and material… they didn’t. They’re now deploying tanks from the sixties and trying to get men above 45 in the military, even going as far as attempting to lure 50-year olds into service.. They’re going for old-fashioned WW2 tactics : Throw cannon fodder at the enemy untill they give-up, or run out of ammo.. However, enthousiasm to rnter the fray isn’t exactly high in Russia itself, and without actually declaring it ‘A War’ Putin can’t force a mobilization.. oosie..

That’s the fun bit in spotting (paid) trolls, “follow the wonky grammar of commenters with rather suspect ‘common’ english/american names.

@ethelwolfe What’s openly reported, and what’s actually in use already, is quite different. Unless you believe that ‘spontanious combustion’ of material and fuel storage facilities withìn the Russian border is just a natural phenomenon. :P

Oh, but the trolls ‘snap’…. But not exactly out of denial. Their meltdowns after being pelted with dry, multiple-source facts are always very entertaining.

‘Potential’? You jest.. :P The Guardian has in the past published some articles, investigative journalism and op-eds that name the troll-farms by name and adress in StPetersburg. Even pics of the buildings. They came into full-force during the Trump elections. Often called ‘The best 1 million Putin has ever invested’
1
@JohnnyAmerique Still, only a tenth has to be in working order to unleash armagheddon. It will be the last thing Russia will ever do, though. After that ‘Russia’ will cease to exist as such. Think ‘giant glass parking lot with oil platforms sticking out of it’
1
@davidc9214 nah, stupid Putain troll is stupid. He didn’t pay attention at the grammar course in StPetersburg’s troll-farm.

Ehrm.. Russia hasn’t been ‘Communist” for a loooong time now. Missed the falling of The Wall? Russia is a full-on fascist oligarchy by now.

@youareliedtobythemedia Nigerian trollolloll..

Not just Russian trolls. Plenty of pro-russian/Putain sociopaths with serious neo-nazi tendencies from the US, Europe and Middle-East are regularly trolling on channels about the WAR in Ukraine.

Hey now.. what’s a poor StPetersburg troll to do to get at least sómething of a living wage.. 3 to 5 kopeck a post on top of a laughable minimum wage isn’t exactly the way to become a millionaire.. :P A fella/gal has to eat, and with prices for food stuffs in Russia doubled the last few months.. well..
1
It’s -by now - only traded intèrnally, so printing more will make it look like it’s worth more than it is. Doesn’t stop the prices of, for instance, food stuffs go through the roof, as ther are currently going inside Russia.. The only ones gaining something from the ruble trade are, well, the money traders themselves.

@Polostar79 Aaaand..another rather minty-fresh troll-account. Did they up the rate for posts already? That 5 kopeck a post won’t get you anywhere nowadays.
