  1. Interesting ànd enlightening. I was already reasonably well versed in the way US politics works -coming from a family where many studied in The States, however, the nitty-gritty and smaller details always eluded me. Things are much clearer now. Many Thanks for that!

  3. Uhuh.. And then the defence-industry lobby jumps in the fray and just murders them politically. End. Of. And remember this little wisdom :"There has never been a war the Republicans didn't like" ( Many, if not most, own huge stocks in the defence industry)

  4. HAH! Was about to remark the same! It may sound a bit cynical, but the bloody success of deadly toys like HIMARS beat àny ad, any commercial you could make and has alrèady led to massive orders from everywhere around the globe. I vèry much doubt the GOP would dare take that away from Lockheed, McDonnel, Textron, Honeywell, General Dynamics etc. etc.
