  2. Worse even. When Russia lost a war against an adversary they thought 'inferior' (Japan) in 1905, losing most of the Tsarist navy in the process, it set the stage for the fall of the Tsar. It took about 10 years and another loss, for tsarist Russia to implode. Nowadays things move wáy faster. Putin knows damn-well that nó dictator, Tsar or King, èver, survived losing a war. Hence his desperate attempts to stop the (as it currently looks) inevitable by throwing endless amounts of dumb cannon-fodder at an adversary that is slowly, but surely becoming technologically- and strategically, superior.

  7. Ukrainian Special Forces àre very good, but I feel that it's more the result of failing maintenance. Many gas installations in Russia run on western hardware.. and proper repair/replacement of failing monitoring and maintenance equipment has become virtually impossible due to the sanctions. Having said that, I would lóve it when after the war, Ukraine would grin and said :"Yup. We did that"

After that it would be over within a month.   16. Well.. tbh. A BUK is rather big sucker. It can make quite the bang. However, yes, the crater points towards an actual air-to-ground ballistic missile. I also feel it was a russian cock-up in the settings, or just a failure of the navigation system itself. It’s technology, and technology is fallible.
