@phillee2814 Well.. Remember those Ukrainian MIL's that flew ìnto Russia to blow-up an fuel depot at the beginning of the war? Ukrainian pilots DO have titanium cojones. Thàt much is clear. It also made clear hòw Ukraine was going to tackle the invasion: Not purely fighting Russian soldiers back, just keep them busy, and take away their supplies and nix their supply lines. Oldest tactics in the book..

THAT would be something. But I have the distinct suspicion that an actual titanium rod, fired from space, would have vaporised miles of that bridge at once.. :P

Let's just say "The vetting will be thorough" .. Probably dug-up the old handbook that describes how to deal with Soviet defectors.. It's.. "strict" Let's keep it at that.
1
Nothing new. Russia has been angrily shelling civilian targets since they were kicked out of Kyiv. So, sorry, no chance of LARPing fallout 4 in Ukraine for you.

That "negotiating table' was 'off the table' the moment Russia annexed part of Ukraine via a sham referendum. It's now down to "Last Man Standing" You cannot negotiate with untrustworthy pigs like Putin. It's plain impossible. Only when the pig is slaughtered there mìght be something to start that looks like honest negotiations.

Probably bought from the profits made when selling important parts from their ICBM's to black market entrepreneurs.. 😂

Check Vlad Vexler's vid on the symbolic meaning for Russia of that bridge, and report back after that, chum.
1
Yup.. like the Moskva was an ';accident', and that ammo ship that went up in its harbour, and so many other large, symbolic objects. All 'accidents' or that bloody chain-smoking conscript that pops-up every time something major goes 'kablooie' 😏

"Feed a soldier properly, and he will fight for you properly" And old wisdom that seems to have escaped the orcs. By the by, those republics that have been "fighting for independence" since forever with help from Russia (maybe even coördinated by Russia) , must have quite the buyers remorse by now.

Not just Putin. Their whole government, high-ranking civil servants included, is as corrupt as it can be. They ALL have to be nixed for Russia to have àny chance of becoming a somewhat civilised country that can be trusted to some degree.

That's the thing, isn't it? Why start an idiotic imperialist war when you, as a country have so many resources that are wanted and needed by about all countries around you, and then some- that you actually already got them by the balls economically? No war-mongering = no sanctions and no money pissing away for deadly toys that get destroyed by the thousands. Every kablooie another million wasted. "War"and "Imperialism" in this makes no sense whatsoever. The only ones àctually faring quite nicely here, are those countries Putin so hates and wants to destroy economically: Western countries making weapons. So, in retrospect, It's actually true that ALL dictators/autocrats go loopy when they get older, and logic flies out of the window.

They wouldn't be wrong, though.. "They know their target audience" 😂

You mean " Ukraine gives a hint" as in "You may leave at any time now".. In all encirclements that succeeded, Ukraine always seems to have left a way 'out', but ONLY for lighter vehicles and people on foot. Never for tanks, or large, heavy supply-filled trucks. There's a method behind it, I'd say.. :P
1
Good question. Time to get ATACMS and long-range HIMARS to Ukraine, otherwise they'll be vulnerable to Russian cruise missiles for, like forever.
1
Unlikely. But it wóuld have been funny. Payback for 1948..

*reads gazillion of comments.. Hmm. lots of Troll-Coping here..

You know what's worse? Khadyrov is only òne of the semi war-lords with their own armies, that still reign in many a RF republic.. And most of them got nukes, due to the Russian tactics of 'spreading the risk' if in a full-on nuke-war with "The West". They àlso got the keys to "The Big Red Buttons" When Russia/Putin implodes and the harsh, brutal hand of the Russian army is no longer there to keep the blood-feuds at bay, chances are that all hell will break loose. Especially now it has become clear to some republics that the "Great Russian Army" isn't all that. Chechnya and Armenia are alrèady at each others' throats...

Not just Putin, but the whole DUMA. And when they're at it, the bosses of their media too.

ORRR.. Ukrainian divers carefully cut a mine loose, knowing the prevailing flow of the water.. And sat back. Still.. Would be the biggest "coincidence" that the mine reached the bridge the exact time a fully laden fuel-train was waiting there. People concentrate on the bridge, but all that precious fuel for deadly toys went up in flames too. Quite the set-back for already strained supply lines. Ukraine has deliberately and systematically been destroying fuel-depots, and now the depots that weren't destroyed will have a bit of a problem too, me thinks.
