Especially the offers for working vehicles. A plane for just a million is a bloody bargain, let alone a warship. And a tank for 100,000.-?? for, say, a full-fledged T-72? dayumm.. that's a steal!

Indeed. They looked like a well-oiled SWAT-team.

"Being NOT an affluent Moscovite, or StPetersburg inhabitant is rough.. There's a reason that alcoholism is a serious problem in Russia, and that horrid home-cooked narcotics like "Krokodil" are used to escape reality..

If they're actually produced, that is. Though, I got a very good, new, lambswool Russian officer's uchanka at the local surplus. In light of the "disappeared' winter clothing, quite interesting. "made in" label was clearly ripped-out.. Shop-owner claimed he got a large lot from Belarus, shortly before the war broke-out. "Things that make You go "Hmm"

The móment the ground temp reaches freezing, Your boots are going to be collectors of pure, undiluted COLD.. Some nice, dry (!) woolly Socks will prevent the freezing-off of toes.. Let me tell You.. frozen toes look disgusting and they HURT.. a lòt.

@lairdcummings9092 RobotJox? Anyone? (shows my age.. :P )

.. And when the camera stopped, added that he would personally shoot ànyone that even remotely contemplated surrender.. Apparently commanders got specific instructions to immediately shoot anyone that ran away from the 'enemy' Thing is.. a lot of commanders ran first.. after ordering the poor conscripts to "hold the line".

Sheesh.. 60,000+.. dead..( and more than 200,000 Ukrainian civilians) because of the sick empire dreams of a frustrated, sad little troll. That BMP crew did the smartest thing. By the by, those Ukes got pretty fancy gear, and the coördinated way they approach looks decidedly like a thoroughly trained SWAT team..

Just wait for the results? Jake mentioned those buckshot rockets in one of his former vids, I believe.

Helmets are seldomly about stopping bullets, but more about stopping shrapnel.. Things may have changed, but my old inner- and outer helmet set, could stop flying shrapnel from a hand grenade close-by, pretty good, but a bullet, even from an FN-GP @ 25meters, went straight through.

What was it that the POW tanker said "We only learned driving forward and backward.. and were immediately after, sent to the front with our gear"
1
Indeed. No need for ventilation in BMP's too. Steel Rain makes interesting sieves out of armoured vehicles. Tanks, I'm not sure, though.

Depends on the seasons..
1
They have. How many of those are still in working order, without important parts that 'disappeared' , well, thàt's the big question.
1
@Progs420 YT admins sabotaging again. Or Putin trolls. It's starting to look rather suspicious. Jake's stuff is hardly as graphic and shocking like, say, those channels that show the collecting of KIA orcs in graphic detail.. and yet.. Jake's stuff gets flagged immediately.

Сербским троллям лучше заткнуться.
1
@theculturedjinni They dó.. so, they order proper winter gear.. and the funds immediately disappear somewhere between signing the budget, and placing the order. Russia is só utterly, totally, completely corrupt that even a corrupt piece of You Know What likeTrump, or his butt-buddy Giuliani can only look on in total awe.
1
@KB4QAA Maybe, maybe not. It could take weeks. It could all implode in a couple of days. M777, especially the GPS-guided variations- have a way of quickly softening dug-in defences. And if Ukraine has proven ànything, it is that they are nasty precise with artillery. But who knows. "Predictions are hard, especially about the future" (Yogi Berra)
1
You'd be surprised HOW close that is to the actual truth. Russian propaganda is quite impressive in that regard.
1
It còuld have been an exercise, though, as some people thought. ìf it was practice, it hàs to be said that it went like a well-oiled machine. Me thinks the Ukes are getting very, vèry thorough training.
1
"Lots of important parts missing" as the rumours go. But, then again. You'll only need one, or two working nukes to unleash Armagheddon..
1
Meh. The trolls are, by now, só desperate, that I saw some of them seriously claim that the villages Ukraine took back, were defended by just 500 men, and cost the Ukrainians tens of thousands of men.... That's a degree of delusion usually only seen in the closed wards of a psychiatric hospital.
1
It shows how well the Ukes are trained. Impeccable discipline too. No bravado, no vengeful kicking of POW's, just "To the point, down to business"
1
Tests have shown as such, indeed. Remember the hoohah in conspiracy-circles when people saw " light spirals/ dimensional portals above Russian test sites in its far North? Yup.. all missiles that misfired and went down while producing pretty light-up spirals in the night-sky.
1
@emilyfeagin2673 There àre rumours that ICBM-base commanders, and others stationed there, have actually been selling parts of the missiles under their command... Given how corrupt Russia is, it wouldn't surprise me one bit. And remember the hoohah in UFO-conspiracy circles about the "Spiral Portals" above arctic Russia.. that actually were misfiring ICBM's during tests. But.. only ONE nuke has to actually work to unleash Armageddon. Soooo... I'm still a bit apprehensive.
1
Oy.. Do NOT forget a healthy stash of bottle-caps!
1
If that cloth is cotton, it's going to be worse than good, wool socks

..And expensive real-estate along the Mediterranée.. Lots of real estate in the US too.

Army: Не нужно. уже коричневый после первого залп HIMARS ( Transl. "No need. Is already brown after first HIMARS volley" )..
1
@robderich8533 Well.. A stern " If You do that, and we catch You, we'll shoot You on the spot" dóes invoke a bit of thinking before You leap.. The absolute guarantee from Ukraine that they will be anonymous when they do it, is the àctual genius of it. And a lot of Russian conscripts still actually believe they are there 'to fight nazi's' So there's that.
1
?Hmm.. Wells drying-up? Is that maybe the reason SA and some other Arab oil states have bought mega-insurance for "When oil ends"? (And some are heavily investing in Solar, wind and other alternative energy sources)

TWO of them, even..
