  1. It's pointless building walls when you have a border that is nearly 2 000 miles long. Not only is it expensive to build, but maintenance and monitoring for breaches is expensive as well. Then you get the cartels using things like catapults to launch things over the fence and people building ladders or digging under it. In this case, you've got a much shorter stretch to secure and the political will to do it.

Right and if they manage to import some of the street fighters from Somalia, it could get incredibly bloody very quickly and you might see the tactics spreading throughout the network of organizations that are mobilizing against Israel. It's about time that Israel got cut off until such a time as they want to engage in good faith negotiations to end the bloodshed rather than purposefully encouraging the extremists to attack them.

  3. Which is all the more reason to cut the Israelis off from any sort of military aid until things are resolved. Giving them weapons clearly hasn't worked and now they seem to feel entitled to steal Palestinian land and block legitimate humanitarian aid from places like the Gaza Strip. (We can't exactly cut the Palestinians off as we aren't giving them any weapons for self-defense)

  4. I don't know why we're still so chummy with Israel. They're a bunch of war criminals and they spy on the US more than anybody else. The whole thing is a lot harder to back a side in when you realize that it's mostly terrorists versus war criminals where the typical people suffer.
