And even after they've bought the pig, they still don't want to hear that he's completely insufficient. They're going to use reconcilation to get $1400 rather than the $2k that they promised. So, they'll get attacked for using budget reconiliation anyways and they won't at least make it $2k or a recurring $2k and I don't believe there's anything for essential workers in there either. But, the unemployed will again be making more than those working essential jobs in many cases.

Apparently, the $2 extra above the previous bonus was too much. Not to mention the fact that many of us got our hours cut and weren't eligible for pandemic relief because the cutbacks were due to overhiring rather than the pandemic. So, we're stuggling and basically nobody except these city councils is doing anything about it. For shame.

@Rocchio753 No, they wouldn't. There'd still be money to be made and that money would have gone to the other chains.

@Rocchio753 I know enough about economics to know that preventing the elites from stealing all the gains wouldn't crash the economy.
