  1. His mother was a Democrat, so I doubt Fox TV was blasting 24 hours a day. IIRC the father was an independent or libertarian, so there was probably some exposure there. Not to mention that he was 20 at the age of the shooting and subsequent shooting death, that's plenty of time to get sucked into the conspiracy stuff without parental involvement.

  2. I'd suggest not watching any of the 24 hour news outlets. There just isn't enough news that's relevant to the entire country to fill up whatever portion 168 hours is left after advertising.
