My wife has decided that she needs to yell at me whenever I'm picking at my skin. The place I pick at is a cyst that will never heal. It's literally not going to heal whether or not I pick at it. She literally refuses to understand that her yelling me at me over it just makes it worse even though I've told her it's mostly a matter of anxiety. But, somehow it's all about her, I'm doing it to insult her. If she would have let well enough alone and wouldn't do things she knows serve no purpose other than to stress me out, it wouldn't be as pronounced.
