A lot of people don't want to acknowledge that the various workplace discrimination laws would be blatantly unconstitutional if they only served to protect minorities. The reality is that as long as a group is marginalized enough to need the protection, it will serve to help them far more often than the opposite. If it starts to get to be more of a 50/50 proposition, that's a point where it might be worth considering if the protection is still needed. But, some portion of the folks get used to the protection and being able to blame other people for their failings, and as more and more people hang out in bubbles, it gets harder and harder to really know what the experiences that other groups are having is.

The 1st amendment doesn't apply here, this is a private website. Whether or not it should be is a different matter entirely.

People work that out all the time. At some point, you see photos of the folks they're seeing, or a complete lack of that for no particular reason. It sounds like the sexual orientation of the individuals is not in dispute.

David Duke coined the term and it's meant to give cover to people that are objecting to affirmative action programs as being reverse discrimination.

@sirdidymus9032 Section 230 is a completely different thing, and I think it mostly talks about the degree to which they're responsible for what's posted here.

Normally, it only happens if the SCOTUS justices that review the application see there being something in it that justifies it being heard by them. The court can't hear every case, so they tend to choose things where there's a split between the circuits or where there's some other compelling reason why they want to rule on a particular case.
