Or women could stop exploiting their bodies for extra tips. This isn't men's fault here, this is women taking advantage of their bodies to make more money. As has been noted, women don't care at all about equality when they're benefiting from the inequality. If women decided that they weren't willing to put up with this treatment in exchange for extra tips, I'm sure this would change within a matter of months. It keeps going because there's enough women that like the money enough to justify putting up with the behavior.

@mailasun 1.2v is typically what AA sized NiMH batteries start at, the cutoff is typically closer to 1v, but with a regular AA battery that's going to come rather quickly after 1.2v as it's pretty far into the discharge curve.

@chadwillett619 It's not a linear curve and it doesn't get to zero before the battery is no longer powerful enough to perform. Usually somewhere between 1.2v and 1v the battery has been discharged to the point where it can no longer power the device that it's supposed to be powering.

@t0nyz0 If that were the case, then NiMH AA batteries wouldn't exist. All the ones I've ever seen start at 1.2v.

@sikchan5834 I'm not sure what the specific manufacturer is, but all of the Kirkland Signature products are produced by somebody else. Usually that somebody is one of the name brands.

For the most part, no, a battery is a battery. The only measure that typically matters is the number of mAh that are in the battery. A 9v battery is a 9v battery, as long as the mAh is the same, you shouldn't see any meaningful difference. There is some variation in how well they do with cold and how flat their discharge curve is, but chances are that any differences that you're seeing are the result of the placebo effect. If you want to see a significant difference, you have to jump to something like NiCad or NiMH which do have significantly different characteristics.

That's pretty much women's fault collectively. Women are at least as disgusting as men are in this regard. The main difference is that women get away with not having to make the first move, so they don't get used to having to do so. Which moves the window about. But, the whole idea that women don't gawk, catcall or touch is rather ridiculous. They just aren't used to having to make the first move, so they're less likely to do it at a restaurant or bar.
