"Biden Did Not Threaten to Sabotage Nord Stream Pipelines as Russian Disinfo Claims. For its part, Russia cast suspicion on the United States. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova pointed at U.S. President Joe Biden, citing a statement he made on February 7.
On Telegram, Zakharova wrote: U.S. President Joe Biden must answer whether the United States acted on its threat on September 25 and 26, 2022, when an incident occurred on three branches of Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2, preliminarily qualified as pipeline ruptures, possibly as a result of explosions.”
Problem is, that puts Biden’s words, spoken at a news conference before Russia attacked Ukraine, in a false context.
But it was weeks before then that Biden, at the White House with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, was asked if Germany would “pull the plug” on Nord Stream 2 “if Russia invades Ukraine.”
In that event, Biden said, “There will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it.” Scholz added, “[W]e have intensively prepared everything to be ready with the necessary sanctions if there is a military aggression against Ukraine.”
So, the context was about whether Germany and the U.S. would block the project to bring economic pressure to bear on Russia, which prior to the war provided half of Germany’s natural gas (and 40 percent of Europe’s, much of it transiting Ukraine). Pulling the plug is entirely different from blowing things up." Polygraph

No. That is not supported by evidence. "Biden Did Not Threaten to Sabotage Nord Stream Pipelines as Russian Disinfo Claims. For its part, Russia cast suspicion on the United States. @davidschwartz870 You would think so, given Hersh's reputation, but you would be wrong. "Claim That US Blew up Nord Stream Pipelines Relies on Anonymous Source. Seymour Hersh presents factual background material, but his case for conspiracy is held together by a seemingly omnipotent anonymous source.
This story, when deconstructed, is merely a pile of purported second-hand information allegedly collected by someone connected in some unknown way to deliberations of a highly secret, multi-agency task force. Such a story falls prey to the same criticisms of other more recent work published by Hersh, which has relied on similarly questionable anonymous sources.
If the U.S. did conspire to destroy the Nord Stream pipeline, Hersh's reporting has not proved that case. Hersh has, instead, made a very successful blog post that essentially transcribes a compelling story someone unknown to the general public told him." Reuters

"In an effort to find out whether these claims of an open border are true, Frost goes to sources who should know. See below an exchange between Frost and Border Security Chief Patrol Agent Gloria Sanchez, in which Frost puts to her question about whether Biden’s Oval Office tenure has created a more porous border.
Frost asks Sanchez directly: “When President Biden took office, did your agents stop enforcing the border and just allow everybody to come in, thus creating what we hear here is an open border?”
Sanchez replies: “Sir, thank you for your question. The answer is no, sir. We continue to enforce policy and laws.
Frost puts the same question to John Modlin, Chief Patrol Officer, Tucson Section, U.S. Customs & Border Protection. Modlin replies that this is the “fifth administration I’ve worked for, starting with the Clinton administration, and border agents do their job every day.” NPR

@brianmccauley7711 During yesterday's ridiculous debate about "denouncing socialism" and their dictators, Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (R-Pa.) got trolled by Maxine Waters after she gave a succinct and correct answer to his questions.
“You can’t condemn socialism?” Reschenthaler said. “In your opening remarks, you were talking about Putin, Kim Jong Un and Xi. You know what they all have in common, right?”
Trump,” Waters said.
“Trump?” Reschenthaler said. “North Korea, China and Russia?”
“He loves Kim Jong Un,” Waters said.
Reschenthaler kept trying to frame his questions so Waters would denounce oppressive regimes that have been denounced for decades by the Democratic Party, but he failed miserably.
But Trump loves him. That’s your leader,” Waters replied.
Bringing up the killing fields of Cambodia didn't help him either.
“Don’t ask me silly questions,” Waters fired back. “I told you, I’m a capitalist. I’m not like Donald Trump. I’m not like Republicans who claim to support this democracy but at the same time refuse to condemn those who attempted to destroy this democracy."
You need to talk to your leader, Donald Trump, about what he’s doing, about why he loves Putin so much, why he loves Kim Jong Un so much.”
Reschenthaler tried to turn the conversation towards Venezuela, and Waters bit him again.
"I want you to denounce Donald Trump. I want you to denounce the Proud Boys. I want you to denounce QAnon, and I want you to denounce the KKK," Waters said. "You do all that, and we can talk."
Maxine Waters wiped the floor with Rep. Reschenthaler and the entire Republican Party's idiocy on a topic that was a complete waste of time.
