I am a fan of breastfeeding. It is handsdown the best and most economical way to feed babies. Some women can't (maternal death or adoption). Some women choose not to. I thought that the United States was a country that championed freedom of choice. Most people are either offering dangerous suggestions or chastising women for not breastfeeding. Neither is helpful.

That is a laundry list of discredited quacks. "VAERS is an American reporting system to keep track of unfavourable or unintended events that take place after vaccination, like a fever or a rash, and that may (or may not) have been caused by the vaccine. Anti-vaxxers routinely publicize reports from VAERS as if they are proof that a vaccine is causing clear harm. On its own, VAERS cannot be used to conclude anything, but it can tip off experts that a particular safety signal might be real and deserves to be further studied." McGill University

The vaccines are not experimental.

@babbalonian2 Canada's response to the pandemic (following health measures and getting vaccinated) has been quite successful based on the only measure that counts: deaths. US deaths from COVID-19: over 998,000. Canadian deaths from COVID-19: 40,000. If deaths from COVID-19 was an Olympic sport, the United States would get the gold medal.

@babbalonian2 That is funny coming from a parrot who repeats nonsensical ideas from social media.

@babbalonian2 Everyone knows that social media is the most accurate source of information. That is obviously where you focus your attention. Your research process consists of hearing a rumor at the coffee shop and verifying that rumor on Facebook and Twitter.

@babbalonian2 The science of that is settled no matter how many times you say otherwise. Over 12 billion doses have been administered. The experimental phase ended before the vaccine campaign began. Canada's response to the pandemic (following health measures and getting vaccinated) has been quite successful based on the only measure that counts: deaths. US deaths from COVID-19: over one million. Canadian deaths from COVID-19: 40,000. If deaths from COVID-19 was an Olympic sport, the United States would get the gold medal.

@babbalonian2 No matter how many times you post that, it isn't true. Over 12 billion doses have been administered and no one is stuck to their refrigerator.

@babbalonian2 Tiffany Dover is still with us. "A Chattanooga hospital said a nurse who fainted last week after receiving her first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine is "doing well." "Skeptics have said they believe Dover's condition is worse than what has been released so far -- with some even speculating that she had passed away -- due to her not making a public appearance since she fainted during a live news conference on Thursday, Dec. 17. "We are aware of the multitude of false information circulating on social media about Tiffany Dover. We created the video because our nursing leadership wants the public to know of their support of Tiffany and to clear up many of the circulating rumors," said a spokesperson for the hospital said in a statement Monday. Over the weekend, the hospital tweeted that Dover appreciates the concern shown for her." Also, Dover did answer questions minutes after her fall on Thursday. Dover told us she has a condition that can sometimes cause her to faint when she feels pain. Doctors also told us this type of reaction is not unusual. "It is a reaction that can happen very frequently with any vaccine or shot," said Dr. Jesse Tucker, Medical Director of critical care medicine at CHI Memorial. He also received the vaccine the same day as Dover, and spoke with us afterward. According to the CDC, fainting can happen after many types of vaccinations and medical procedures. The CDC says although fainting has a variety of possible causes, it is usually triggered by pain or anxiety. The hospital tells us there is no indication her fall was related to the vaccine's ingredients." Reuters

No sane parents are looking for medical advice from YouTube pediatricians.

@M9K9 You should ask that question of Mr. Grapheneoxideisinthevaccines. "Alberta's hospitalization numbers show COVID-19 vaccinations are saving lives. As of Wednesday, double-dosed Albertans in the population outnumbered unvaccinated Albertans by nearly nine to one ... but they don’t outnumber them by nine to one in hospital. On a per capita basis, the unvaccinated outnumber the vaccinated seven to one in non-ICU hospital beds. And the difference is even starker in ICU. The unvaccinated outnumber the vaccinated in ICU by a factor of 17 to one. Even though there are only one-eighth as many unvaccinated people, the unvaccinated are also seven times more likely to die of COVID. Being fully vaccinated still means you are far, far less likely to be hospitalized, admitted to ICU or die of COVID." Lorne Gunter, Edmonton Sun. The best part about the name is that absolutely no anti-vaxxers copy it.

@M9K9 Since you are not a doctor, you won't mind if we ignore your advice.

@M9K9 You should listen to the leaders in your community. "Muslim leaders and activists tackle opposition to COVID-19 vaccines. Outreach programs to dispel COVID-19 vaccine disinformation are having an impact on vaccination rates within some Muslim communities." National Geographic
