There is absolutely no comparison. In Canada, Section 2(c) guarantees the right to peaceful assembly; it does not protect riots and gatherings that seriously disturb the peace: R. v. Lecompte, [2000] J.Q. No. 2452 (Que. C.A.). It has been stated that the right to freedom of assembly, along with freedom of expression, does not include the right to physically impede or blockade. Chinese citizens enjoy no such rights.

@plantbasedstrong Again, there is no comparison. We're not governed by temper tantrum or truckers.

The word is "allowed". There is no comparison. In Canada, Section 2(c) guarantees the right to peaceful assembly; it does not protect riots and gatherings that seriously disturb the peace: R. v. @sammyjimsmith6100 It did not seem like some of the protesters were willing to compromise. They were demanding things that were never going to happen. The harsh reality is that the United States had the exact same border policy with respect to vaccinations. Most health mandates are in provincial jurisdictions.

"A screenshot purporting to show a Facebook message posted by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau encouraging people to ostracize those not vaccinated against COVID-19 is digitally altered. Representatives of the Prime Minister also confirmed the post is fake." Reuters

Not everyone who you disagree with is a pedo.
