  1. Pity my old dad's no longer around to watch this, he'd have loved it having flown Coastal Command Flying Fortresses and later the longer ranged Liberators out of the Azores. He seemed to reckon the Liberator was the more comfortable to be stuck in hour after hour but He always talked about the Forts with greatest affection.

  2.  @clarkenoble  More important the Lancasters or Mossies? Honestly, I don't think you can point to any one aircraft and say 'that was the most important'.
