  1. Detroit Robinson 24 there are parts of the city that are dangerous primarily the eastern half of Detroit. But downtown and midtown are coming back to life.

  2. I would love to visit Detroit and ride that new light rail line and see all the restored old landmark skyscrapers in downtown. It will be even more awesome when that 60 story mixed use tower is completed on the JL Hudsons site downtown. It will be Detroit's tallest building.

  5. Cody Gubernick I can think of a few reasons: highly corrupt politics, horrible roads and infrastructure, dangerous poisonous wildlife, hot and humid, too many narrow minded bible thumping screwballs, crushing poverty.

  6. tolbuck the last time I drove on I-94, the Michigan National Guard must have had artillery practice on that interstate because it was rough and rutted the whole way from the Indiana line to Detroit. Yes asphalt and concrete are like oil and water.

  8. Krangle72 Yeah I have driven on I-94 a few times and that highway is downright horrible with rough rutted pavement and worn out asphalt patches.
