Dawn Loves Couture because those hipsters will clean up and restore those slum neighborhoods and bring them back to their former glory. Than older empty nesters will follow close behind and make additional major investments in these slum neighborhoods. What is wrong with that?

Maxine Frazier Philadelphia is utopia compared to Baltimore, Memphis, St Louis, and the south side of Chicago.

godbluffvdgg Philadelphia's city hall is the most beautiful city government building in the US. Fairmount Park is the most beautiful city park in the US. This guy is a brainless fuckwit.

Darryl Gore THANK YOU!

Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Buffalo are three very good, high quality US cities. Granted they have their problems and their drawbacks but than so does the rest of the world. There really is no utopia.

Dawn Loves Couture I am afraid that you are wrong because that is exactly how it works. 1. Hipsters discover and move into decrepit neglected neighborhoods and clean them up and make them more livable and vibrant. 2. Older empty nesters move in shortly after and invest big time in these former slum neighborhoods causing property values and housing costs to rise and drive out the last of the lowlife welfare trash, sending them on their way to a cardboard box or two under a expressway viaduct.

Sebastian Moya and Chester PA as well.

Dont believe the baseless bullshit in this video.
3
Mark Scutti it is also a great city if you love architecture, history, culture, and parks.
3
Nathan Huffman also he better not come to Buffalo because Bills fans can get very belligerent at times.

Dont listen to this damn fool, Philadelphia is a great city to both visit and live. Granted the taxes are high, there are rough rundown neighborhoods, and sports fans are among the worst. But Philadelphia is steadily revitalizating and regrowing in as much the same way as New York City. Every place has its problems and drawbacks.
3
James McGill that means that there isnt really anything seriously wrong with the City and County of Philadelphia other than the horrible public schools and a few rough rundown drug infested neighborhoods along with its streets and highways always under construction.

8DALE not all democrats are liberals.
2
K Ehland Pennsylvania roads and highways are lousy to begin with and both New York and Ohio are just as bad.
2
Philadelphia is nowhere near as dangerous as Baltimore, Memphis, St Louis, Milwaukee, and the south side of Chicago.
2
Mihai Mihai that is how it was during the 80s the Reagan years.

Do New York City next.

Tommy Truth why do you need autos and parking when there is an excellent public transportation network of rail, electric trolleys, and buses throughout Metro Philly?
1
Pete The Frog I find it hard to believe that Buffalo, Pittsburgh, and Nashville have higher crime rates than Philadelphia.
1
AnnaliseCurtinMusic along with the beautiful architecture, magnificent parkland, awesome food, great culture, awesome sports.
1
what pros, Baltimore is the Caracas of the USA so it is all cons. Avoid it at all times.
1
TreeDee71to75 Pennsylvania is no worse than either New York or Ohio when it comes to lousy drivers. All three states suck on this one.
1
Well New York City isnt all that great and it has its fair share of filth, decay, and abandonment. Plus it is ridiculously expensive and the midtown Manhattan skyline has been ruined by all those unneeded supertall skyscrapers that are nothing more than parttime luxury housing for the wealthiest of the wealthy.
1
Dont believe all the nonsense in this video. Come and see Philadelphia for yourself.
1
Dawn Loves Couture the suburbs are no better than the central cities. Both are in the exact same boat when it comes to strained finances and a host of other serious problems. So get off the myth that suburbia is problem free and a utopia because it is definitely not nor will it ever be.

BO you have even more homeless people in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
