  1. One point about not being allowed to leave when things get bad - the problem is you won't be allowed to leave just before that happens. Before March 2020, AU stopped letting citizens leave the country (late Jan 2020), used "gag-orders" to prevent them telling people that they weren't allowed to leave and waited until early-mid March to go public with restrictions. The AU govt was telling people in early Nov 2019 who'd registered as being overseas through SmartTraveller to "come home the "2020 thing" is in full-swing". Clearly the govt tried to "hush it up" and intentionally trap citizens within the country as why else would you tell them to "come home" before something happened unless of course the govt was intentionally complicit in the "2020 thing"... Makes you wonder!
