  1. I'm no Carolla fan but it is true there are some college professors I've had who shut down students expressing views not consistent with theirs - both liberal and conservative. These teachers live inside their protected academic bubbles and act like little kings and queens, and it is pathetic to see. Many of them never had actual jobs in their lives.
