  1.  @Case_  is this the show so old that earliest seasons are partially lost media now since they only existed on TV tapes that got reused and there was no home recording hardware at the time?

The fact that they record voices on set is already an achievement, in Soviet cinema they didn't even have boom mikes, but instead, had to dub ALL dialogue in post-production, leading to it sounding both unnatural (everyone is in the middle, all scenes have the same studio reverb) and poorly acted because voice acting and screen acting are separate talents and many actors just couldn't relive the same emotions in a booth... add to it obvious censorship (you see when lips don't match) and you got generations of people used to dialogue sounding badly in movies. In Hollywood sound was great before Nolan came and ruined everything.
