  1. I think Service Merchandise type stores should be a "thing", again. Floor items can be secured while people shop item numbers, prepay and wait for your merch to be rolled out to ya.. or go down to get it, like Ikea does. Or do as we do, now, since lockdown... order online and pick it up. I had a dream that downtown stores (essentially warehouses) had window displays and billboards that had electronic screens, displaying photos of inventory. Customers could search and purchase through model numbers or links. They wouldn't enter a "store" but would pick up their items at a type of loading dock. It was a weird dream...
