If y'all made me president I would make lobbying highly illegal. I would also mandate term limits and age limits for all government positions. I would make it illegal for them or their direct family members to put money into the stock market while being in the US government. I would mandate that all government officials make federal minimum wage and get the bare bones of their state's health insurance that is given to the poor. This way, they will be incentivized to make sure minimum wage and state insurance are both good and decent.
