  1. 14:20 that's bullshxt. We did this, and our credit score dropped 30 points each anyway. We had the money to pay off a loan early, and everyone told us not to. So we didn't. Paid all that extra interest and our scores dropped anyway. Pay it off early and save yourself the money you would have paid in interest. These banks and credit score companies will scam the shxt out of you either way.

  2. You did the right thing. I borrowed $1,600, and after more than a year of $209 a month, (over 2,000 paid) I still owed over $700. Paid it off this month with some of the inheritance I got from my grandma. You would have paid sooooo much more than $5,000 for that loan.
