  3. But why? They appear to be hiding stuff from the public. And it appears, but obviously I can't confirm, that protecting paedo-files is of extreme importance to them. If that's true, doesn't that say something about them and potentially what they are hiding? Nothing else seems to explain what's going on. Otherwise, why would they care? Don't they support human rights? Who wants to use a project which rejects human rights? There exists no one in history who is on the right side of history who opposes human rights. Yet here is the Gnome foundation squarely opposing human rights.
