We were invaded by the French multiple times leaving us pretty much destroyed. Through government stability we were able to achieve the status we are proud of today. Also, if we need to compare a democracy of your size, let's talk about india vs the United states. The states is around 3 times bigger than your country. Gained Independence from the British in the late 1700s, had the great depression in 1930's which devasted the economy left almost everyone in a hands to mouth situation. Yet they were able to rebuild it really fast. Just remember that india has had a long time to atleast solve some problems, but they have failed.

Be it the number zero, shampoo etc. It wasn't until the Arabs used zero in algebra that it had as big a significance compared to when it was used as a placeholder. Zero was invented independently by the Mayans which also shows that india's lack of invention of zero would still have given us the concept. In case for shampoo, india didn't figure out a way to scale the product making it easily available and it is here that a western man was able to invent the formula which could preserved in bottles and scaled easily.

They are responsible for assembly not manufacturing of the components. Secondly, your vaccines are used in 170 countries which are basically all the developing countries and none of the major developed countries in the world. Again, India just manufactures the vaccines whereas other countries innovate it in the first place. Also, the software developments which are sent to India is on the service side B2B products rather than consumer products and usually with a host of bugs and errors when sent back to the companies. Oh and Samsung didn't move its factories to India but rather, planned to open factories in India for assembly and display components to circumvent high import duties of the Indian government. Majority of Samsung's innovation and manufacturing of components still takes place in Korea and Vietnam; both manufacturing hubs for international exports for Samsung.

Regarding the battery life, unless you want to game on your mobile device both phones get me through the day, I have an iPad mini 2 back from 2013 which runs on iOS 12 and still performs great. In regard of longetivity, I would argue that Apple does a much better job than android manufactures.

Actually if you look at China the parameters within which one can compare it to the developed economies is really few. China has a huge debt burden, a state which continuously gets involved in their companies, standards of living which is nowhere close to their developed counterparts and a population which is aging really fast and needs to be reskilled which turns out to be really difficult. That is 60 percent. Why is that the case? Because the greenback is still the most trusted currency of the world. People thought Japan would take this position in 60s and 70s and it never happened. The next highest foreign currency reserve is the Euro which is mere 20 percent. Output of United States doesn't matter if so much of US dollars is in circulation outside the United States. The demand of US dollars is ever increasing and the supply is only restricted to printing of US dollars.
