  1. Yeah tbh Xia is the one with the least evidence and considering that they're the ones who initially "lost" the mandate of heaven it makes most sense that the Shang created it as a justification for their rule.

  3.  @sinoroman  Okay but those aren't inherently nomadic practices. Literally the military practices of much of Europe and then calling them less civilized since they work very well militarily. Really the only thing there is "Khan"

  4. Only issue is that Islamic was fundamentally derived from Roman civilization and the influences of the others by the bronze age collapse can barely be felt

  5.  @henrytsang5200  Honestly it sounds like "Peking" was actually a variant of "Peiping" because we've a historical event called I think "15 days at Peking" around the turn of the century which then further adds to the confusion.
