  1. Lol the grinding is going against AFU. The areas Russia takes are fortified. Therefore, RF are now fighting/defeating AFU from those fortified districts.

  2.  @petrihaikio7002  no. I didn't say anything like that. Obviously fortified doesn't mean impervious. But Bakhmut is the linchpin to centralized roads. Plus, Russia has up to 500,000 conscripts coming out of Belarus in the next several weeks. So AFU support from the south will be thinned if they try to defend their northern territory.
