  4.  @Chimel31  Then it turns out that Russia lost at least 60, and most likely 75 thousand people this month. Have you heard of such figures? Me not. So I’m sure we’re talking about losses in general, that is, dead + wounded. It’s just that many sources confuse these concepts. Since the offensive has been going on for a month, we divide these numbers by 30 and another 5 to find out the number of dead, after which we get 100 dead per day. These are exactly the numbers that we saw in Bakhmut, everything fits. This is approximately how it should be during an offensive. And one more time, yes, I understand all this, and yes, I am for Ukraine, but you should not inflate the numbers too much so as not to create illusions. This is a very difficult war, where most people still do not die, but are wounded by artillery fragments and drone grenades. Having 100 dead per day, we get from 400 to 500 total losses per day, which exactly corresponds to the approximate scale of the active offensive. Equipment losses are undoubtedly recorded correctly, but in general we are faced with the fact that modern equipment has become almost useless on the battlefield when it attacks the defense. Unfortunately, this applies to both sides. The West delayed deliveries for too long, allowing Russia to build a defense, which is why Ukraine’s equipment also became of little use. We need planes, but most importantly shells, drones and artillery. As in the First World War, it is artillery that makes it possible to win. No artillery - no victory.
