  2. Berthold Von Zahringen Nostalgia for what? The Iowas never actually did anything significant-everything they did was in supporting roles that other ships could have done a lot more efficiently. They should never have existed in the first place back in WWII, let alone now.

  5. calvingreene90 I’d go with the IRL layout. 3x triples is still a reasonable number of guns (unless you think the Iowas, NorCals, etc have too few main guns), and quad turrets are notoriously unreliable. Of course this assumes that building a BB at all makes sense....

  6. There’s also the issue of the Iowas being ships that shouldn’t have been completed in the first place.....then again you can also say that about the Zumwalt.
