  1. The Dunning-Kruger effect seems to me to be particularly rampant in the investing community. People watch a few clips of buffet and read one book and consider themselves geniuses.

  2. I like your final thought. In my mind I’d go a step further though. To me ignorance or lack thereof when it comes to investing would come down to knowledge of future events and how the market will react to them. As none of us can accurately predict the future , especially not all the time - we should all consider ourselves ignorant investors. Even buffet himself !
