  26. The problem that many don't understand is that once you get to the place where you have banks. Banks create money. Now if you don't believe me you need to listen to Milton Friedman when you pass money back and forth between banks you create money privately. You can play a game by yourself on paper to see how this works the banks asset value will rise because because they can count the same deposits more than once if the beginning loaning money back and forth to each other all without ever violating the requirement to keep a reserve on deposit. As long as the money can be just numbers on paper not actual gold or silver you can't get away from this problem. People don't want to carry gold and silver around to buy and sell everything which is how banks came into being. They had to tell people that their money was insured against loss to get back the trust in banks. They also had to create the central bank because of this. How do you have a capitalism without money and banks? Why do you think so many banks failed durring the great depression? They use to issue private money durring the great depression. Why is this possible? Because you only keep a fractional amount of the total on deposit. Now you have the German and Japanese Central Banks having zero interest rates. The problem is that most people suspect something fishy about banks but don't really understand how capitalism involves both the circulation of money and the creation of capital. You think you can just easily assign prices with a market and forget that when you put money into a market it becomes possible to create more money and thereby change all the prices. That's why in a real socialist country not only are they internationalist in out look they try and get away from commodity production the production of commodities for money. This is why in Cuba people appear to be living much better than their salaries would imply.

  44. Thomas Sowell is just a disciple of Milton Friedman he even sits in his Chair at Stanford University. His book Basic Economics is what you would call a hymn to capitalism and Free Markets. At the end of the day the only thing he proves is how foolish he is. His big claim to fame is his claim to have been a marxist who saw the light You can call him a marist if you want to voulgaris Marx's teachings. Go ahead chuck the labor theory of value in the trash for one so stupid only an intellectual could think it up. Trade can be beneficial to both parties and big risk can result in big rewards. Wow what Genius Sowell is!!!! I might want to trade something I don't need for something I do and some else might have something they don't need that I do. Big Risk can produce Big rewards. Anyone with a brain knows you usually want risk as little as possible to get the biggest rewards. Fidel says he risked the whole revolution to win the battle with South Africa in Angola. Well that was certain a big risk and it produced a big reward the defeat of the invincible white man in South Africa. What did the big banks and capitalist do when the crisis of 2008 hit? Did they reject the use of the central bank for waiting for everything to naturally reset? Like Friedman postulate for the fix after the Great Depression? No the headed straight to Washington for a bailout. The only thing Friedmans ideas in the old Soviet Union produced was a deep economic crisis which is why the Chinese didn't put everything up for sale like the neoliberals told them to.

  56. Where do Marx or Lenin promote this idea of a superior race? The idea of building Socialism in one country was only theorize by Bukharin in 1928 and rejected by Trotsky with Lenin being already dead. Hitler came to power in 1933 with help of President General Hindenburg and the Conservative Capitalist parties. The Communist and Social Democtats represented the industrial workers while the Nazi found followers among the middles class being pauperised by the capitalist system. Stalin's basis was in a rising group of privileged officials while Hitler's Party was created to save the same social class of people being crushed between capital and labor. This is why you see so many similarities between the two. The Russian Oct revolution began with votes first among the bolshevik leaders then the St Petersburg Soviets. All power to the Soviets was the Bolshevik slogan. Hitler's was give me the power of dictatorship from the Reichstag after the fire denying all the communist and some Social Democrats their seats. Hitler tried and failed to get a conviction of the Communist leaders for the fire. Hitler got only votes of the capitalist parties for him and for his dictatorship. He came to power based upon thuggery, lies and deceit. Despite all the talk of free markets you see that the capitalist world adopted Keynes ideas. The only difference between Keynes and the neoliberals is how much should be left in private hands and how much should be managed by the state in the interest of other investors like those who own the central banks national debt. Stalin and his leading gangsters did not see the real threat that Hitler and fascism posed. Stalin was hoping to find liberal allies to save him and his regime. He feared the Spanish revolution and Trotsky more than Hitler. Instead the Stalinist originally thought Hitler was just leading another group of opportunistic politicians. They called the Social Democrats Social Fascists. Now the word fascist has become little more than a swear word.

  57.  LibertarianGalt  Professor James Burnham left the Communist (Trotskyist) movement to become a conservative. Some wars are worth the fight like the one which defeated the slavocracy in the American Civil War. Which crushed slavery with a mighting blow creating a South more radical than the North for a short period of time. The Republicans betrayed Blacks and the Radical Republican governments in the South to Democratic Party violence with the compromise of 1877. The Franco Prussian war was launched by Emperor Napoleon the III. Marx must of realised just as Lenin did that a capitalist government with socialist ministers waging a war of plunder deserves no support or peace. Afterall in 1871 the Paris Commune was declared. The third Republic which you find so "peachie keen" would crush the Commune and continue French Imperial colonialism. Or the one which is being waged by the Jews against Hamas. Hams is a capitalist NAZI like Party of thugs and Jew haters making themselves rich off of UN Aid and sympathy for refugees that they care less about. It and its billionaire leaders and thugs deserve what the get. If they want peace then they can give up their hostages and surrender their criminala for trial and renounce their plans for the final solution of the Jews. . We called the Vietnam Peace movemnet the antiwar movement because we were for the Victory of the Vietnamese people over the Imperialist Power of the capitalist United States. The same reason we favor the Victory of Ukraine over Putin despite his hypocrisy about wanting to recreate the Soviet Union under Stalin since he clearly blames Lenin for Ukraine in the first place.

  75. What is a species. The members of a species can all reproduce successfully with each other. Dogs are an example of humans breeding animals for specific traits. The idea of Darwin of natural selection is that the origin of the species come from nature doing the natural selection instead of us doing the breeding. So a crop like corn was grown by native American people and it is one which can't reproduce without human intervention in planting. It is theorized that ancient people bred it from a grain like plant. The idea of divergence of species is that groups of the same species get isolated from each other and the "magic" of natural selection occurs. This is theorised to play out in human skin color because a dark skin is less susceptible to skin cancer from the sun while a light skin can produce more vitamin D. The key thing that make the human different than the animals is we use fire to cook which helps digestion and allows for a more varied diet. We have a voice box to make sounds for communication. We are social animals who live in groups. Our hands our shaped by the need to labor. Our bodies are made from long periods of physical activity with sweat glands to cool allows us to cool off instead of overheating which we can use our advantage when a group of hunters chase a wild animal around until it becomes overheated.. What did a group of hunter gatherers do afterwards in their spare time? They created culture from which all science art math and even religion springs. Agriculture the deliberate raising of animals and plants for human use creates a suplus and the beginning of human civilization. It's not scarce resources that plague us because when have we not found more ways to use what we already have? Rather it's the uneven distribution and control over the productive forces.

  82.  @5haNe5eb_71  First because no one has really been able prove it's not possible. I can tell you that John Galt's free energy machine is impossible according to the current knowledge but does what does that say about the rest of the thinkers ideas or will some prove the first and second laws of thermodynamics wrong?? They talk about it being a failure but then when they have to come up with a reason why well they don't really come up with a valid one because they are often doing the same things only in a different manner. So they talk about the failure of central planning until even their scholars realize they are doing the same thing with central bank controls on all these so called independent banks. Or the talk about over regulation until someone asks about how which you prevent insurance fraud without government or some kind of oversight on private insurance companies. They talk about censorship by state media being bad until they start doing it themselves. They talked about victory in the cold war and now they are talking about having a new cold war against China and Russia. If the rich western capitalist nations had not gone to war in 1914 the would not have had the Soviet Union and 70 years of communism as one of the results. The capitalist of all nations have to deal with trade unions, Cuba and communists. So they still face class struggle and because they are in the worst economic crisis since the great depression along with wars raging between Ukraine and Russia and between the Jews and Islamic terrorism its not "a peaceful" capitalist world.
