  1. The US President FDR the Democrat wanted war just as Wilson the Democrat did. Both lied about not wanting war. Oil was also part of what began the war with Japan the US refused to sell to Japan. That of course was a decision of the Standard Oil Monopolists despite being broken up into a number of companies. The US was secretly aiding the British sending American Officers who were already fighting with Japan in the Far East.
