@windellmcspindell3652 The reason for using Blacks as slaves was because it was to easy for the Irish to run away from their English masters in America. The English King James was an owner of the Royal Africa company that brought Black slaves to the English colonies in America. The Europeans all brought Black slaves to work as plantation labor in the New World because Native people ran away and as did other Europeans who were also used as slaves or indentured servants.

@windellmcspindell3652 By Europeans I meant Europeans as a national grouping not individuals. Plus all early civilizations had slavery but not necessarily the buying and selling of people as slaves. Plus the grouping together of people subjected to special forms of oppression as a reaction to racism, sexism and great national chauvinism is progressive. The KKK white nationalists was and always will be reactionary to the core not so for Black nationalism with the goal of uniting to throw off racist oppression. The awakening of colonial people post WW2 was a great advance for humanity against the oppression of Imperialist colonial domination.

@windellmcspindell3652 Roman slaves were acquired by war. They were not perpetual slaves through birth though. If you are unfamiliar with Black Nationalism? Well that's not my problem. I was born here dumbo. What should I do seek a transfer to somewhere where I don't speak the language? Some of us went to US public school not the country day school like Bill Gates. For someone with a college education you need to get out of the Ivory Tower now and again. Do some sluming into my kind of neighborhood.

@windellmcspindell3652 I think my Grandfather could have applied for Irish citizenship. He died before my 18th birthday. I'm on the Trotsky side of the Stalin-Mao v. Trotsky divide. Stalin had thousands of left oppositionist murdered in the Soviet Union and hundreds in Spain. When Mao came to power left oppositionists were locked up or fled. Trotsky himself was murdered in Mexico on the NKVD's orders. This is where the most important battle between capital and labor will take place. Why would I want to miss that? I choose the symbol since it was the early symbol of the Soviet Union on the Soviet flag. China has four small stars to represent Mao's theory of the Bloc of four classes. Class four only came back after the return to Capitalist relations.

You might also note that Malcolm X dropped 'skin' nationalism after his visit to Mecca and his meeting with caucasian revolutionaries in Algeria. Saying he was willing to work with all who wanted to rid the world of this rotten system. We still publish his speeches at PathfinderPress.com People like Farrakhan are not leading the struggle forward because a 'Black Capitalism" is not possible as the next historic stage. It's too late in history for 40 acres and a mule. If it was possible to give every Black family today 40 acres of land and a tractor then what? Black people in the US are overwhelmingly proletarian. They are overrepresented in the proletariat and are still subjected to special oppression by the capitalist state. Over and over in history Blacks since the days of slavery have shown a willingness to fight that oppression. More Malcolm X's are on there way and many will go through a period of national awakening. Its is important that we be there when they do to win them away from the dead ends of Mao's and Farrakhan's.
