@novalee8979 Murder is the unlawful killing of another person. If however the court were to rule a fetus to be a person it would immediately lose its right to survive at the expense of another person's body. So be careful what you wish for.

@lad7436 We had abortion prohibition before and it didn't work I see even less reason for it to work today since back then the abortion pill wasn't available. Young women held meetings and organized protests for abortion rights.

@Snakester218 In my opinion the court has opened a debate which the anti abortion forces have already lost. The Starr County Texas DA dropped murder charges brought against a women for having an abortion after gaining an indictment without comment.

@Anna-vl8qc Probably doing just as well as they are with everything else like immigration and the drug war opiate crisis. You realize that most abortions are accomplished by pill and nothing prevents them being prescribed on line by a doctor in another state and then filled by mail order with a forwarding address from a legal state. Or crossing the Mexican border for a pll also used for stomach ulcers? If you think that you have accomplished anything but making yourselves look like idiots than you are sadly mistaken. The Starr County DA had to drop the abortion murder indictment without comment and the people of Kansas just voted down a state constitutional amendment giving the state legislature the power to regulate abortion. It works how? by Texas Republicans grandstanding for crowds of supporters? All that has to happen now is for a women to die needlessly because politicians know better than physicians on how to practice medicine and you be tagged as the Pro Death movement.

@uncannyvalley2350 If the politician want get the law involved then if I was a physician with one of those cases I'd be getting the governor, judges and lawyer out of bed or wherever and down to the Emergency room ASAP.. Send them an uber driver who can ring a doorbell and blow a horn.
