  11. And in six months when you're enjoying summer we'll be having short, cold winter days. It's also a myth that all of Australia enjoys warm weather all year. I live in a climate similar to England, and in winter my golden beaches are home to seals and penguins. But the last two days have been hot. And some of us got sunburnt yesterday celebrating Christmas. Drinking beer whilst sitting in the sunshine will do that in summer. Happy New Year
