That's a very shrewd observation. I live in a small town. Whilst we have cafes, fish and chips, and hamburgers, we have no multinational fast food chains. And I don't see obesity in children or young people. I think you are onto something though. In the 1980s as a young adult I weighed 50kg. Doctors continuously told me I was underweight. By my forties I weighed 65 kg. I remember a nurse weighing me and saying I was obese. This seemed ridiculous. I asked her what weight I should be and she said 45kg. So over a twenty year period, 50kg had essentially gone from underweight, to overweight, for my height. I also note that the video says all the remedies for obesity involve big pharma and or surgery. I know there are a lot of fat people around but I have had a lifetime interest in the early modern era, and descriptions of people being stout or rotund in middle age are everywhere. It just wasn't considered abnormal. I have read that both Queen Victoria and Henry 8 first wife, had waist measurements equal to their height by middle age.

It could be worse. We could be starving to death. And soon will be if the WEF has their way.
