Exactly and my Woolies have stopped stocking home brand products which effectively triples the price of some products.

@RebelRose666 I also live in a rural town. We have a Woolies and an IGA. At least the IGA sells local meat and vegetables. And if you buy things like potatoes in bulk the IGA is much cheaper. But you are right actual groceries are ussually more expensive.

I agree. We buy lots of local produce. Potatoes for $1 a kilo, up to $7 a kilo in Woolies.

I don't know if it's only in my region, but through out the "cost of living crisis," my local Woolies has stopped selling many home brand products. Giving people no cheaper alternatives. Surely this is not accidental.
