Which leaves me wondering about our election. Are we still a democracy?

@mariahewitt9787 We can't underestimate the enemy, they are clever, that's why the conspiracy theory lie works for them.

@dadmalafrance4417 And this is an Australian news site and we are commenting on our own politics.

@mariahewitt9787 France has digital identities and Italy has progressed to social credit scores.
21
@elisabethpearl9790 It doesn't feel like a very democratic election

@dadmalafrance4417 Well that's what is being said here, and our Prime Minister was praised by Schwab who identifies vax passports as digital identities.

Trumps Death My comment is in response to another comment on the Australian election. Please read again.

@mariahewitt9787 Exactly. Democracy and universal suffrage was a failed twentieth century experiment. But the illusion it exists stops the people revolting. And witnessing how many slept through covid, they won't be stopped.

@henryford2950 Marx said religion was the opiate of the masses. I believe it is the belief in the illusion of democracy that prevents revolution. I expect future historians will describe democracy and universal suffrage as a failed twentieth century experiment. I do not believe my country is fascist though, because our politicians have zero national pride or love of country.

@queenbunnyfoofoo6112 I was actually referring to Australia. But our system is hardly democratic. It's compulsory to vote, and we must vote for every candidate like something from the former Soviet Union. As for fraud this election, due to covid there won't just be postal voting, you'll be able to vote online or by phone. Both the major parties are ignoring the people's issues, or anything about covid, so I suspect fraud is planned, so it'll be one of Schwab's puppet's for us.

@queenbunnyfoofoo6112 It's pretty bad here, through out covid the government built concentration camps throughout the country and they are very vague about what they are for, and in most parts of the country the unvaxed can't work, and if you go to a hospital say with a broken leg, they can vax you against your will. We had protests at the same time as Canada, but the government used sonic weapons on protesters resulting in radiation burns and other injuries.

Trumps Death Yes I can feel it, as can many others. It doesn't feel like other elections. The politicians of the major parties stand in rooms full of elephants from the atrocities committed in the name of covid, and split hairs about the economy. It's like neither side makes any attempt to engage the public. Many want a hung parliament where neither side can rule. They have also used covid to introduce not only Postal votes but internet and phone voting. The point is the opposing sides are acting like a team against the people. Thank you for helping me put feelings into thoughts.
