  2. Most women don't have careers they have jobs. Married women working outside the home is a rort. What used to take one man's taxable income, now takes three, Dad, Mum and a daycare worker.

  4.  @lescoe  Always was. We grew vegetables, and kept chickens, we sewed, university students who couldn't type would pay us to type their assignments. And as I said we really only needed one income.
