I don't know what's going on with interviews these days and even our own Congress but you don't ask a question and demand a simple yes or no to your question okay you ask a question you use active listening skills and you allow the person answering the question to answer the question in the way that they see fit you don't need to demand and boss your person your guest like you're some Tyrant and say answer my question yes or no yes or no that is so inappropriate unprofessional and actually very demeaning to the person you're asking the question to
