Yeah Anonymous sources are supposed to be from like employees or people who work in organizations who find bad stuff out and want to expose it without being known like whistleblowers it's not for statements that you should be able to ask the actual person that you're reporting about I mean how can I not call him and say hey your lawyer said XYZ is this true? I mean isn't that what journalists are supposed to do verify their sources
