  1. its not about asking questions , its abut giving the public an alternative policy to the given status. regional parties cannot do that because regional parties cant have the Central power in the first place, so people don't look at them as any alternative.

  2.  @bindurao3463  no, foreign office does not dictate itself to the politics of state when considering international relations. the regional politics only affects things like shares resources , ie rivers or large foreign refugee community staying in a state. but if the foreign opinion of the state is different from center then the center will not yield. and the state policies do not affect agriculture market is why we have FCI, to create enough buffer so the individual states like punjab and MH cannot affect national grain food prices frequently. in all and all the Center is very powerful and can take over any state and its laws as it wishes without obstruction
