@IndiaTides It's made with modern construction materials . So it's not history I mean if you like tunnels , there are water drains everywhere in metro cities to carry rain water..... Go live there

@IndiaTides iron pillar is a mark of achievement. This is just a drain, not an achievement of anyone. I mean, if I give you 100 yr old British ear underwear you will call it historical, and ask it to be preserved.

@IndiaTides I tried to be polite to him ,so I answered him in the language he might understand. As I said before,it's no different than any tunnel which connects 2 different places in Delhi. Or the difference between it's history and a history of an British era underwear. And yeah, they will preserve it. It's not like government has any important work, all they want is to waste their time on a small drain.

@IndiaTides It has a glass pane cover on top, the insiders are lined with cement paste mortar. it is certainly not important or a new discovery And in fact some of the sewer drains in delhi are as old or even older than that tunnel, so yeah I am correct on your over religious reverence for a drain size tunnel And there is nothing to preserve there, it's of no importance to anyone. And I don't think you understand history.
