  3. It'll be another puppet regime beholden to Turkey, Israel and the US. If they even manage to hold it together. There hasn't been a single US intervention that toppled a dictator with a positive outcome for the people. But plenty of US companies were happy, though.

  4. @Theodor_Herzl  Let me get this straight: A Western Atheist handle, yet claiming Middle Eastern Tribal heritage, is berating everyone about the lack of democracy while the very nation he represents is a racist apartheid, illegal occupier and committing genocide. The West has indeed worked against every single pro-democracy reform in the Middle East, not just for Arabs but in Turkey and Iran as well. Countries beholden to the will of the people cannot be manipulated or bought off like dictators, which is why the US so adamantly has supported authoritarian regimes that are far worse than Iran or Russia. Or did you forget how Saddam Hussein acquired his chemical weapons? How the UAE and Saudi spent 10 years starving Yemeni civilians? How Sisi was fully supported despite being the most brutal leader Egypt has ever had? The only reason the US dislikes Assad is because he's not "their son of a bitch".

  5. It's quite hilarious to see the same people celebrating the fall of Assad (which they normally should) that are also adamantly supporting Netanyahu's genocidal regime. A genocide fully supported by Israelis, which according to the Israelis themselves makes them all legitimate targets, no?
