Will the UN ever hold my country, the USA, accountable? The UN did not hold the USA accountable after the illegal Iraq War nor after so many other illegal actions by the USA. I would like to see the UN hold the USA accountable, but I won't hold my breath waiting for that. Update: I have seen some very good comments in response. I forgot about the fact that the USA has veto power, which it has been using a lot lately to stop the UN's resolutions calling for a ceasefire. That same veto power stops the UN from holding the USA accountable. Maybe countries need to pull out of the UN and create a better organization based somewhere else which does not give any countries veto power. Maybe a new org. could impose sanctions on the USA. Wishful thinking.

@adrien5834 Good luck waiting for that. Nearly half the electorate thought that the orange man who went bankrupt 6 times and had zero experience was a good choice for president. Most of the rest of the electorate seems fine with legalized corruption where gov't officials from both parties are allowed to take unlimited bribes...I mean donations...from wealthy people and corporations.

@poweroflove7320 Why would I lie about that. I mean, it's not like I'm trying to sell you something. When I lived in Europe for 2 years, I started telling everyone, "I'm from California." It was too embarrassing being from the USA when Trump was the president.
