  1. Four things. 1. Leonard Peltier: a Native American man who was near 2 FBI agents on a reservation when they got killed. With 0 direct evidence, FBI allegedly used circumstantial evidence and made-up evidence, and allegedly coerced false witness statements to convict Peltier. He spent 50 years in prison until Biden just commuted his sentence. One of the prosecutors who had convicted him now says he is innocent. The FBI still says he should have stayed in prison. 2. Smearing people during McCarthyism. In the 1950s Republican Senator Joe McCarthy went on a witch-hunt, going after anyone he thought might have any kind of connections to Communism. Many careers and some lives were ended because of this. The FBI helped. 3. Outing and firing suspected LGBT people during the time when FBI Chief J. Edgar Hoover was likely gay and a cross-dresser, but very much closeted. 4. Former FBI Chief James Comey blatantly violating FBI policy by announcing a new investigation into Hillary Clinton within days of the 2016 election, while at the same time not once mentioning that the FBI had also investigated Donald Trump during the campaign. That could have helped Trump win the election in 2016.
